Buying and selling in Connecticut, since 2018.
I'm a licensed Realtor® with The Brokerage of New England, working with buyers, sellers and small investors across Connecticut. I've also spent years renovating and managing property of my own, which is mostly what shapes the advice I give.
Approach
How I can help.
Buying, selling and investment property. They overlap more than people expect — what a repair costs is the same question whether you're buying a house or getting one ready to list.
Buying
I'll walk a property with you and talk through what's cosmetic and what isn't, what an inspection is likely to turn up, and roughly what the work would cost. It's easier to think that through before you've fallen for the place.
Selling
Pricing, preparation and marketing. Part of that is being straight about which repairs are worth doing before listing and which ones you won't get back — I'd rather tell you to skip a project than watch it eat your return.
Investment & Multifamily
Two-, three- and four-family buildings, which is a good part of what I do. I've owned and renovated them myself, so I can talk through what the numbers look like once turnover, vacancy and deferred maintenance are in them.

Renovation
The renovation side.
Fire restoration. Tenant turnover. Kitchens taken back to the studs and put back together on a schedule and a budget. I've been doing this alongside the licence for years, on buildings I own.
So if you're looking at something that needs work, or you own a place and you're weighing up whether to fix it or sell it as it stands, that's the conversation where I'm most likely to be useful.

About
Azeem Haq
I'm a Connecticut Realtor® with The Brokerage of New England. Most of my work is with buyers, sellers and small investors, across eight towns and three counties.
Before and alongside the licence I've been renovating and managing property of my own — multifamily buildings through full tenant turnover, fire restoration from smoke damage back to rentable units, and gut projects stripped to the studs and rebuilt: framing, wiring, plumbing, kitchens, baths. You learn quickly what an estimate leaves out. That experience is what I bring to a walkthrough.
